8 Great Ideas from Around the World Transforming the Care Experience Monday, October 13th (planetree.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/G8Summit1.pdf) Innovation in patient and person-centered care is happening around the globe. Join us for a day-long session highlighting ground-breaking approaches from Africa, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and the U.S. We’ll kick off the session with five minute mini-briefings on each innovation. Presenters will then have 22 minutes each, in a series of 4 paired sessions, to present in more detail on their specific innovation, and address these questions: • What’s the challenge this idea/program/product addresses? • How does it meet that challenge? • How successful has it been? • How might other’s benefit from the concept? • What’s next? These highly engaging sessions, which may include demonstrations, role-play, and video, will challenge the audience to move beyond present beliefs and think about how to bring about transformation of the care experience. The G8 will wrap up with a facilitated Q & A with all of the presenters back on stage, in dialogue with the audience.
