85% of taxis on the road sounds good on paper but in practice, how many of these cabs are actually available? Most of them can just switch their signs to busy or choose their passengers depending on where they are heading. Maybe instead of enforcing all these on taxi drivers, itd be a better idea to decrease rental costs so drivers are more motivated to provide public service instead of constantly trying to break even. But hey, Im not a high ranking civil servant to make such calls :X #SG50
