9/24/2014 -9:30 PM - UPDATE While I was getting ready this morning, I got a call from Heritage telling me that Val was going to have to go to Athens Regional for a PIC line. The Cipro that hes been getting for his UTI is not doing the trick and they are going to have to give him Fortaz through IV for 7 days.The last couple of times he has had PT he was clammy when he finished and I had to change his shirt. I guess this is the reason. I so wish we could stop the one step forward and two steps back part of this journey. His appointment was at 11 and the procedure was supposed to take 5 minutes. We were gone for 3 hours. Bless his heart!!! He did get OT and PT today. All of this was done in bed - he was pooped. Hoping for a restful night for him. Lord I pray for this infection to be cleared up and for Val to continue to make progress. Thank you for all of the people praying for us.
