A 41-YEAR-OLD man of Livingstone has died after a vehicle rammed into the house he was sleeping in. Southern Province commissioner of police Charity Katanga said the accident happened on Saturday around 00:30 hours. Mrs Katanga said in an interview that the accident happened when Fred Zulu, 29, who was driving a green unregistered Land Cruiser lost control of the vehicle and hit into house no H287 in Zecco, in which Geoffrey Sibbanga was sleeping. Mrs Katanga said Mr Sibbanga died on the spot and his body is lying in in Batoka Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem and burial. She said Zulu of house number C391 in Libuyu is in police custody charged with causing death by dangerous driving and will appear in court soon. Mrs Katanga said the vehicle has been extensively damaged. And a 22-year-old man in Livingstone died on Friday after falling off from a scaffold at Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport. Mrs Katanga identified the deceased as Kelvin Mwale, an electrician contracted by a Chinese company to work on the new airport terminal. The incident happened around 16:00 hours and Mr Mwale, of house number A17 Airport Road, was rushed to Livingstone General Hospital where he later died around 16:35 hours.
