A Christian can actually be defined as one whose sins are forgiven. A Christian can also be defined as one who has given his or her life to Christ and forgives those who sin against him or her. Christianity is built on forgiveness. Christ died primarily for our sins to be forgiven. Anyone who gives his or her life to Christ receives forgiveness of his or her sins and is also expected to forgive everyone who sins against him or her. Forgiveness is the main focus of Christianity. It’s very unfortunate that very many people believed a musician that sang a song saying that prayer is the key. But it’s very wrong to believe so, because it’s not written in the Bible that prayer is the key. Do I mean that prayer is bad? No, because I also pray every day of my life but that does not make it the key. Do you know that so many people are suffering today because they refused to forgive those that offended them, yet they pray every day? God can only forgive or listen to your prayers when you have forgiven all that offended you (Luke 11:4). I encourage you today to forgive all that has offended you. I assure you, that great miracle you have been praying for will take place in your life in Jesus name!
