A Leading retail Company based in Amman is seeking experienced, organized, and qualified to work as a Showroom Manager Job Purpose: Showroom managers are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a showroom. They must be highly responsible people who possess solid business and personal skills. Tasks & Responsibilities: 1.Showroom managers are in charge of overseeing the sales of a showroom environment. This entails everything from making sales to keeping track of sales reports to forecasting sales projections 2.Showroom managers are responsible for the face of a showroom, which means handling the customer service elements in a professional manner. 3.Showroom managers must know business protocol when it comes to dealing with customers and must be able to field every type of customer inquiry, from the dissatisfied customer to the very inquisitive one. 4.Responsible for managing all the other showroom staff. This involves motivating, encouraging and collaborating with employers to create a healthy, productive work environment. 5.Managing employees also involves scheduling elements and other administrative work such as coordinating sick leave and allotting bonuses. 6.Showroom managers must also be willing to fire an employee if that employee is not performing up to company standards or has crossed some other line, even if this employee is personally on good terms with the showroom manager. 7.Showroom mangers are in charge of training newly hired staff so they can quickly get up to speed and perform their jobs at a high level of competency. 8.Showroom managers must be highly knowledgeable of the products available in the showroom. They must be able to successfully field all employee and customer queries regarding the products, and must also stay on top of current trends and competitor products. Being an expert in the products available in the showroom is an important part of being a successful showroom manager. 9.Overseeing the functions of all departments of the showroom 10.Strategizing sales and marketing plans to drive revenue into the showroom Technical and Personal Skills & Abilities: Technical and Personal skills 1.Have the ability to meet deadlines 2.Have the ability to manage the staff 3.Have the ability to understand necessary paperwork and get it completed. This includes being able to use all computer programs associated with the information and forms s/he must make sure are filled out. S/He will be expected to understand inventory, sales forms, invoices, credits and employee time cards 4.Have the ability to train others 5.Look professional. 6.Have a firm grasp of the products 7.Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
