A Memory A Day: Jan. 27, 2014: Airline Travel: It used to be so simple to fly. You bought your ticket. LOL, they sent it to you via the US Post Office, you went to the airport. Your family and friends could all go see you off, so you tried to sit by the window so you could wave as you taxied off, as they looked out of the windows in the boarding area. Of course, you were never really sure if they saw you, but you waved like a fool anyhow. When you landed, the folks waiting for you were right there to hug you as soon as you walked up the ramp to the doorway. Ah, those were good ol days. So sad our world has to be in a constant state of alert for problems. Oh, lets not forget real food was served, too.
