A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge (1985) Is a sequel ever better than the original? Yes! But this one isn’t. Still, if you’re looking for a movie based on a script written with intentional homoerotic themes unintentionally directed into an obvious coming-out-of-the-closet horror movie starring a closeted (at the time) gay actor- ok wait hold up, this is just too much- YES! Its all true! Do you want to see one of the best dance scenes in history? Done. What about a naked P.E. coach gettin’ whipped in the shower by mind control? Double Done. Don’t worry, it isn’t a particularly scary one, unless you’re a homophobe! Don’t be surprised if you say out loud, ‘This is the greatest cinematic piece ever put to film!’ Drive down to your local Blockbuster and pick this brainbuster up tonight! Tell em Freddy sent ya!
