Thank you!! A volunteer writes: He likes chopped up hot dogs and pigs ears as treats. And, with those words the only family hes ever known left him in our care. I knew when I saw Prince in his kennel that he and I would become friends. His eyes sparkle, his tail wags, and hes a graying senior who should be with his family and not here. Surrendered as hes losing weight and they dont know why, Prince gets along with all people including children, lived well with other dogs, knows sit, lie down, give paw, outside, and stop. Were also told hes housebroken which he demonstrated to me as soon as we were out the door. His leash manners are lovely, hes gentle and was absolutely the perfect dog with whom to end my shift. Prince loved draping himself over my lap for some hugs, and were told that when he meets new people hell bump their leg with his nose to pet him. How sweet is that? Hes always relaxed and friendly, and based on what I saw I have to agree, and is probably why Prince and I became instant friends. He loved draping himself over my lap for hugs, and when I tossed a tennis ball he leaped after it bringing it back for another throw. Prince is the epitome of sweet, gentle, easy, family dog and every other compliment you want to throw his way. He is such a great dog, happy for the attention and time we spent together, simple and easy to love. What you see is what you get with Prince, and what you see is a great dog.
