A Quick Way To Ensure Your LPR Cameras Are Aligned Correctly One quick way to tell if your cameras are aligned correctly is to examine some plate reads in the “mosaic” screen view. You can access this view through the History screen in the L3 AlertVu Mobile software. 1. Click on the History tab 2. Locate the Mosaic button in the upper right of the screen, next to the Show Last button. It is a small button with four small squares. Click on that button to enter Mosaic view. Multiple plate shots will then display on-screen. 3. Examine the positioning of the plates in each picture. By doing so, you will be able to distinguish between the front and side cameras. o - If all the plates reads are positioned near the bottom portion of the screen, it may be necessary to lower the camera angle. o - If all the plate reads are positioned near the top portion of the screen, it may be necessary to raise the camera angle.
