A TREE FOR ALL OCCASIONS I am a tree for all occasions, feel my branches tremble with the breeze. I have my head held high kissing the sky, but with my roots reaching out clinging tightly to the ground, a carpet of earth to be felt all around. There i will stand for hundreds of years, seeing lovers stealing kisses, making plans granting wishes. Watching children running round, holding hands and playing games. Hearing their laughter as they dance up and down. I will also offer solice to those sitting quietly below me, feeling their pain and hearing their sad stories. I will be told many secrets and hear many tales and you will use me for your shelter to protect you from the gales. Yes you can have me for your sad place, gaze up into my leaves, let me look down upon your face and i shall dry your tears. Or i can be your private place where you can act out your scene. Ill let you be just what you want, ill let you live your dream. A tree for all occasions, a very special place. I wear a green dress for the summer and then a red dress for the chase. In winter i wear nothing, disguarding all my leaves. Yes now i shall be naked with painters at my feet. They shall draw my branches, taking care with every twig. But they can only paint the outside that is all that they can see, they can never capture whats inside, no thats the real me. A tree for all occasions, some secrets and some lies.
