A day that is actually pleasantly cool. Got a massive amount of school prep done - up til Halloween for the condensed class - AND coming down to the last few chapters of Ashers/Ysidro #6. Im glad the writing work is just inputting handwritten changes into the manuscript, because that massive a blast of US History always leaves me a little numb. Im pulling together the outline for another Antryg story, as a little treat for myself after I finish starting WW-1 and dealing with Ysidros backstory. Ants have sent scouts into my study, probably in search of water (though the cat-food is in here also - sitting in a moat of water). I dont care if the ants are thirsty, Im going to squash their filthy little asses anyway. And, have found yet another excellent bone-dry research book on the backstage logistics of the Palace of Versailles (where DID Marie Antoinette keep her wardrobe? What happened to the unburned candle-ends down all those corridors? Where did the servants have their meals?). It makes up for having to drive up to the Valley to teach tomorrow at 8-frakking-a.m.
