A disturbing note from my friend and associate Rob Thompson, who photographs high school graduations for The State: A little advice to graduating seniors: Dont come drunk or high to your commencement exercises because a policeman will drag you out of line and handcuff you even if you are in your cap and gown. You wont participate in the graduation ceremony. And, to top it off, your parents will be in the audience waiting for you to cross the stage while you are in jail. (Even at 7:45 in the morning.)
