A few months before I became with the fury of Ragtime, was in fashion a song by Hurricane Smith called Theme from an unmade silent movie: it is one of the tunes that leaded my love for ragtime, so far that also the unrealized film would come true. Iinfluenced by The Sting, Pablo Perna my friend and I, started writing the script for a film about hookers, without realizing that we did not have the most important fact for the film making: film cameras; however, thoght a few years later it became true, we had already lost interest in filming THE FRAVD ( with V for U, because it was more Art Nuveau, and it took place in 1910). However, I composed a whole rag for the introduction of the film and is the one we can hear here. Composed in 1975; recorded in Buenos Aires, Argentina in february 2014.
