A few short weeks ago I was at the lowest point in my life I had ever been. I did not know which was was up or where to turn. People closest to me knew something wrong but I put on my nothing is wrong smile and went on till it was almost too late. Enter the Pied Piper kris Kyer who in a matter of a few weeks re energized revitalized and rejuvenated me the staff the students and clients of steps He came here to direct and play Fagin in Oliver but I should have known what was going to happen. Arlena Boyle James Gardner unkie and auntie Petruniw and some amazing parent volunteers rolled up their sleeves and jumped in to help. I felt like the shoe maker when the elves jumped in and made his shoes over night in the past month 3 fully staged musical have opened including building sets and costumes for each. A brand new concession area has been designed and decorated. A brand new look for both the mens and ladies restrooms classrooms cleaned and dressing rooms assigned and opened and tomorrow Arlena and the staff of the new Steps Dance Center are coming in to paint and redecorate their new space. James Gardner has been working hard on making our web site new and up to date along with our new on line ticketing page working on getting a new light and sound board through donations its all just too crazy But I love every minute of it. I walk in the building and am in complete amazement this transformation has taken on. And it is not over bill Olsen and bill Steele are coming in this month which means more things will get accomplished I should be tired but Im not I look forward to going in the morning to see what will happen next. Its always a surprise and like kris says just get on the train baby this train has been a speeding locomotive that even superman could not stop I am happier than I have been in years Im excited for the new dance season and the amazing classes and new teachers Arlena and the staff of steps dance center have prepared for this year. Am busy Preparing my fall and winter theater season of block buster shows and working on next years summer stage season of shows. I feel 30 again so be afraid of that. I want to officially thank Christine Petruniw and wladimir Petruniw for their support and love and friendship you guys rock my world. Finally a huge thanks to the Pied Piper. Barnum. Harold Hill from LA who came to direct and perform In a show but transformed a life thanks for your advise your knowledge your friendship and a week too early vacation to the cape thats ok we get to go again. You got us all together as a family once more moving in the same direction with a common goal The way steps always was and need to continue to be. Its what makes us special as a business Cantcwaitvfor people to come to the theater and dance center tomorrow I am proud of what it is and know you will all be blown away once again. I am and I see it every day Thank you Thank you. Thank you to all of you who have made this past month one of the best I have felt in years. Its crazy how fast you can go from the lowest low to the highest high with the right energy and people surrounding you I AM BLESSED and I hate using this phrase but I dont know what else to say. It says it all
