A few weeks ago, I posted a link to the Huffpo article covering the new STD alert app, Hula. I was confounded to learn that the media and app developers neglected to see the cultural insensitivity of marketing on the premise Hula helps you get leid. In the following weeks, Alex, Kaio, and I drafted a letter to Ramin Bastani, CEO and Founder of Hula. I encourage you to read what we wrote, learn about the history of hula, and its importance to Native Hawaiians.
