A glimpse of norwegian film from the past year. This film is clearly one of my favorites from 2014 (but i am man so). Currently, I have found three videos on YouTube with this film where one of them is with urdu (i think) subtitles and one with norwegian subtitles. Have even film on DVD and as far as I know so it says on the cover that it is english subtitles on DVD disc so maybe I put it on YouTube soon. The film was marketed as The Fast and the Fønniest when it premiered in august 2014, with music by such as CC Cowboys (norwegian rock band, 1989-1998, 2003-), Kaveh (Hip Hop-artist), Erik Bye (34:10) and producer duo Stargate. Roy (Anders Baasmo Christiansen) is a car crazy man well on the way into the 30s. The only thing he is interested in is to operate the shop Stallion Parts. Beyond that he repairs his beloved iconic Ford Mustang Lillegul as he runs races with their spare time. Daughter Nina (Ida Husøy) lives with his mother in a good bourgeois environment - distant from Roys world. The conflict arises when Nina suddenly appears to spend the holidays with Roy. He does not remember any such agreement at all. In his calendar is the only listed race Street legal and the daughter is nothing but debris in the machinery. During the prize giving ceremony after the race, where the favorite Roy surprised at not winning because of engine trouble, challenged Roy by his archenemy TT (Trond Halbo) to a illegal street race to Sinsen. To end the tergingen Roy says yes if the race goes from Oslo to the North Cape. And there should be only two rules: 1) First, to North Cape have won, and 2) There are no other rules (except that it is not allowed to run through Sweden).
