A great comment on my Refried Beans I tried your refried beans recipe tonight-using zuchinni- and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! My husband even gives them two thumbs up. We are natives of the Coastal Bend area of South Texas, about two and a half hours north of the border. Beans are a big deal to us; good beans are an art. I absolutely did not expect this version to compare to what we grew up on, but it really blew us away. It was also quicker and easier to prepare than a pot of pinto beans at high altitude here in Wyoming. This recipe will be a staple in our meals. I am going to refry the refried beans in the morning with scrambled eggs South Texas breakfast taco style!
