A great number of times Ive complimented God on the sheer beauty, - TopicsExpress

A great number of times Ive complimented God on the sheer beauty, great elegance, and hard to describe awesomeness of some of his more eye-catching, sublime, or highly aesthetic creations. Examples: When youre seeing the many stars in the sky on a night without any clouds and at a remote location far away from light pollution, the miracle of human birth, the intricacies of the human body that we still to this day dont entirely understand with the human brain in particular being an enigmatic complex organic system thats very much still replete with mysteries with only a few of those enigmas illuminated by scientists over the course of decades of research, looking down into the Grand Canyon to see the Colorado River which from that vantage point makes that river appear as if its only a tiny stream. I could come up with many more examples of sublime creations that are clearly the work of a vastly intelligent and extremely powerful being [God] but I wont. Instead Im leaving you the reader to think of others as a sort of mental exercise. Note to unbelievers: if you still dont believe in God after youve cataloged at least two dozen wonders in this universe and youve witnessed at least one of them in person, I have a question for you: do you honestly believe the universe came into existence all by itself (vacuum genesis)? If you want my opinion that theory sounds more absurd than stating that God created everything. Having said all of this, I believe that theres a strong possibility that God did use natural processes to create many things; his typical role in the creation process was to basically get things started by lighting the fuse, so to speak. Example: assuming that the Big Bang Theory is sound, God couldve provided the necessary asymmetry that would cause the naked singularity to implode thus bringing about the expanding universe that we see today. Now Im not sure if God needs (or even wants) compliments or not, but I hope that he feels honored by them because I feel so utterly compelled at times to offer them to him. One thing that Ive always wondered about is whether or not God can become discouraged. I think the answer to that question might very well be yes. I know that in the Old Testament there was more than one occasion where he was greatly displeased with his chosen people the Israelites. On one of these occasions he even contemplated destroying them because he was so unhappy with them. They had turned to worshiping idols among other grave offenses which greatly angered the Lord. Im ending this article with this: God is worthy to be praised. I sincerely believe that we cant praise the Lord too much. To help you get started, just think about what all he has done. This shouldnt take very long because the list is practically endless if you think about it. That was one of the points that I was trying to make earlier.
