A little appeal I just put into SMART PARKING who basically rip off shoppers in ASDA Gloucester car park. This is the second time I have had to write this as your system would not let me upload a supporting evidence photo. However just in case it was all lost I am writing it again!!! I am appealing against this parking charge as I was a genuine customer at Asda Gloucester on the day of the parking charge notice. Like most dads on a Saturday morning I look for things to do with the children, (especially when mum is at work/hungover!!) and Asda is a favourite little place of ours. The aisles are nice and big and the kids can run around and pretty much play with as many toys as they like, while I grab a magazine and pretend to be supervising them!! On this particular morning I was reading Mens Health (I know what your thinking) and generally letting the kids who are 1 and 3 have a great time. (My son had a genuine interest in a rubbish lorry which I hope is not his aspiration for the future, although if it is we will support him fully.) And my daughter was feeding a baby and winding it, again Im hoping her aspirations for having a bundle of joy are well into the future) Any way time was ticking on and after picking at least 100 different toys to put on the Father Christmas list it was nearing lunch. Now I dont know if you have kids but feeding a 1 and 3 year old can be an emotional experience. As you can see from my supporting documentation on this day it was!! Time into café 11:55:02 - time leaving store 12:55:08 as you can tell by those timings it took 1 hour in which time child 1 put most of a yogurt in her hair and face and child 2 stropped around like a teenager not wanting to eat anything (hes only 3 but very switched on) I neglected to say earlier that we met a friend of mine who has twins and a daughter. So 5 Children all under 5. It was carnage, I felt sorry for other diners (although it is ASDA so its not really top notch al la carte dining) As we left it resembled a scene from a zoo. The kids at this point were having a great time and my daughter decided that she didnt really want to leave and had a full meltdown and tantrum. EPIC. Anyway the trip back to the car was interesting, half carrying, half dragging a child not to mention trying to strap in her in to her seat. (It was like trying to hold down the girl from the exorcist) All in all 3 hours to a normal person without children seems like a lifetime, however with children it flies by. Ive attached a receipt which highlights the epics of the lunch hour, unfortunately I cannot find the receipts for when they were being good and I thought it would be nice to buy them a little toy and some sweets; that probably got lost when I was being attacked by a 1 year old. If there is anymore detail that you may need for the mornings events please dont hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to talk you through the emotional code brown nappy change (in if you dont mind me saying an inadequate size room for a trolley and 2 kids) Kind Regards Ben Limbrick
