A long time ago, the members of Metallica said they would never write a ballad. To this day, I still dont know the actual definition of a ballad, but this is the first time Ive seen this video and I feel its along those lines. Metallicas music has always spoken to me, since I first discovered them in 1981. Im so glad they play on the edge, yet they still write relatable music. Many hardcore fans hate this song because its just a little outside their genre, but they thought the same thing about the song, One, which has become one of my favorites.
