A lot of people are falling away and becoming casualties of war in #spiritualwarfare because they cannot find biblical accounts/records of the devil and his demons and many of the strategies that they employ against the believer. Allow me to cite an example. Many people all over the globe have been attacked by a demon while sleeping at night. Typically what happens in a demonic visitation during the night (most occurrences happen between 3am-6am) is that some unseen force either grabs you or holds you down rendering you powerless and unable to move. It is not a dream or a nightmare because typically when it occurs you are awake and not asleep. This type of attack has happened to people from all walks of life whether professing to be a Christian or not. For many of you, what I just described just happened to you this week. There is no specific biblical record of anything like I just described nevertheless it happens all the time to people all over the planet. Can it be validated as an authentic spiritual experience without the EXACT occurrence happening in Scripture? Why sure it can. All spiritual experiences are not found in the Word but should be confirmed by the Word. Although you will not find that exact type of attack in the Bible, you do find where Paul wrote to the church at Ephesus For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places. (Eph. 6:12). What happens in this kind of demonic visitation and attack is called wrestling (Greek: pale) meaning a contest between two in which each endeavors to throw the other and which is decided when the victor is able to hold his opponent down with his hand upon his neck. Your adversary does not fight fair and does not wait until youre awake to fight you. He walks around seeking whom he may devour (meaning to swallow whole-1 Peter 5:8) both night and day. If you remain ignorant to his methods due to not being able to find an EXACT scripture in the bible to support what happened you, your loved and the church that you lead will end up as casualties of war. #spiritualwarfare
