A man from Danestone in Aberdeen has been named by officers in Tayside Division as the victim of a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on Sunday afternoon on the A9. William McIntosh, aged 62, from Danestone died as a result of a one vehicle road traffic collision on the A9 Perth to Stirling dual carriageway, near to its junction with the A824 Aberuthven to Auchterarder Road at around 2.20pm on Sunday 25 May. Despite the best attempts of members of the public and medical staff at the scene, Mr McIntosh, who was the sole occupant of the car, was pronounced dead on arrival at Perth Royal Infirmary. If anyone was on the stretch of road at the time and witnessed the collision please call 101 with information.
