A nations greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members. ~ Mahatma Ghandi As we seem to be sliding into a rhetoric of scapegoating and punishing the weakest members of our society for a financial crash caused by the strongest I would suggest that we are becoming much less great as a nation by the day. Isnt it amazing that there was endless cash available to bail out the casino banks and to finance wars (that have been so successful in bringing peace and stability to the middle east) and huge tax loop holes for the biggest names on our high streets, but the most vulnerable are being squeezed on every front and are also blamed for all that is wrong in society.
