A page Im a part of, called Wiccan and Pagan Community, asked a really good question that sparked my creative side. An admin asked How would you interpret Witches to will forces can bend and how would that apply to Wicca and also Witchcraft? And I wondered Huh...this is my chance to make our Craft known! :) Another way of saying this is Witches can will all forces to bend. You see, a meaning of the word Witch is to bend. Witches use their intention to bend & shape natural forces to manifest a goal. We Wizards also do something similar. Rule of Wizardry #7: Intention controls results. We use intention to control how the spell manifests rather than as the modem for the manner of how we bend the forces we invoke/evoke. Since Wizards take a more scientific approach to Majik, we use strength of will & purity of heart to bend such forces. We see deities as masses of energy & call upon this energy to strengthen our powers. This is done similarly to how Witches call upon the Elements as energies. Wizards also use constellations & center our power in our brains, as the brain is the source of intellect & imagination. We embrace the Universe as our source from which we draw power rather than just the Earth. (I personally see Nature as the whole Universe...but thats just me.) You always here about how our Cousins, the Witches, do it. I figured since Im here, people would find it interesting to know how Wizards bend forces to their will. What do you think?
