A poem from Fong Tran. Please watch it. What a lot of people ususally dont know is that with Asians there are a lot of issues that never get appropriately addressed. We get as much hate as any person of color would. We face stereotypes, racism, prejudice, negativities as well but its not a competition about who has it worst. We are all human and we all deserve the respect and love that any other person may have. But.. when you tell me Im a model minority, youre telling me that Im just another number on a graph. Youre dehumanizing me. Your stats dont define me. I define myself. I am a South-East Asian and proud of it. We will not let the world change us. We hold the power to change, we are the world.
