Position Description: This 32 per hour week position is perfect for someone who gets a peculiar satisfaction from data entry and paying attention to detail. This job is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, a keen eye, an efficient approach to work, a cheerful disposition and of course, a love of books. The position involves cataloguing, photographing, labelling and sorting books for shelving, manipulating and uploading data to various on-line selling sites, changing book locations and electronically scanning books for branch transfer, marking down sale items and managing seasonal inventory. Work with a humorous and hard working group of people who work as a team to keep the back end of the book store running smoothly. Position requirements: Touch typing (no peeking!) skills of a minimum of 80wpm, preferably over 100wpm. Familiarity and ease with computers, and basic computer equipment, and a natural ease with learning new software. Able to comfortably lift boxes of books. Bonus!: Do you happen to love social media and graphic design? Do you have knowledge of photography, basic graphic design with photo shop and basic video editing?
