A seasoned field of kayak anglers took off from the PowerPole Starting Line on time at 7am this morning on the first day of round 12 of the Hobie® Kayak Bream Series presented by Daiwa in Mooloolaba, Queensland. Anglers are expected back by 2pm this afternoon for the weigh-in with a maximum allowable bag of 4 live bream to be brought in to the weighmaster. The rain was light as anglers left the PowerPole starting line but the heavy downpours that were prevalent as the day broke and throughout early morning setup are expected to continue with the early light wind predicted to pick up to 15-25km/h mid morning and even blow stronger into the afternoon as thunderstorms begin to develop over the area.
