The Unity High School boys Basketball Team has earned the opportunity to participate in the Wisconsin State Basketball Tournament in Madison. This is an incredible accomplishment and the first time since the school has consolidated that Unity will participate in the State Basketball Tournament! The first game will be played Thursday at 8:15pm at the Kohl Center. Tickets for that game will go on sale for $10 each in the High School Office. High School Students will be able to purchase tickets first from 8:00am-10:00am Tickets for all other students and the general public will go on sale at 10:00am until 4:00pm in the Unity High School Office. There will be a fan bus for high school students, provided that enough students sign up during ticket sales from 8:00am to 10:00 am. The cost will be $20 and includes a ticket to the game as well as transportation to the Kohl Center in Madison. The fan bus will leave at 1:00pm on Thursday and will return immediately following the game, arriving back at Unity around 3:00am. If the boys win, a second fan bus will be offered for Saturday’s Championship Game. State Tournament T-shirts can be ordered and paid for at the High School Office from 10:00am-4:00pm on Monday. The approximate cost for a long sleeve T-shirt will be no more than $25. The shirts can then be picked up at school on Wednesday afternoon.
