I wake up and have multiple emails on my work account about how my hospital will deal with a potential outbreak. All I can say is: The threat is real. But I have faith in my institution and will continue to come to work even if the disease enters my workplace. There are always risks in the healthcare industry and healthcare workers know this first hand. However, the health and well-being of our children is very important. I hate being cliche but...somebody has to do it and for those of us that do... it is worth the risk.
