A turkey egg hatched in the incubator this am, but the others are still intact. Apparently they are a week younger. The chick is now all alone in a heatbox. Soooo over escaping chooks. I think I have found & blocked their escape spot...tomorrow will tell. I put a couple of wheelbarrow lots of hay mulch in their pen to keep them occupied. Figured that they always head for the mulch around the sm trees & disperse it so gave them their own to play with. Will make great garden mulch in 6-8 weeks. Biggest worry is the dam water pump stopped working. As in no water. Have called for help. No sign of rain. SIGH!!
