As Friedman says on p.34, Predynastic Hierakonpolis was divided into various sectors and quarters, each of which contributes to form a picture of a remarkably sophisticated society. The Khasekhemwy Fort, the elite cemetery Hk6 and the industrial area Hk11 that have been mentioned in recent posts are all shown on this plan.
