AAP volunteers cleaned up a big mound of garbage that had built over years in Chinnapanahalli near Purva Fountainsquare and planted saplings. With our effort, we also ended up reclaiming atleast two feet of the road. We also provided bins for waste segregation to the residents in that locality who had been living right near the mound for years exposing themselves and their children to unhealthy conditions - we also educated them about waste management. While the residents were super happy the volunteers had a fulfilling experience at the end of the day!
