ACCEPTANCE: The Christian concept of A.S.I.P. We seek acceptance in every facet of our life. From our peers, family, friends and coworkers. It is in our inherent nature to seek it. The desire to be accepted by others gives us the motivation to enjoy this life. But imperfect people, at times, let us down. That is why having a relationship with a perfect higher power is so important. Seeking to making that relationship with God the center of ones life leads to fulfillment, contentment and peace. With it, we have the strength to endure the inevitable storms and tribulations that come with this life. And most importantly, we emerge afterward stronger than we could of ever have imagined. It is easy to be happy when things are going well, but true happiness is maintaining that joy when things are not so good. Having a humble, child like demeanor is a key to maintaining a sincere heart. That sincerity is what pleases the Lord the most and allows us to cultivate a close personal relationship with Him.
