AFTER FIGHTING TO NOT DELAY OBAMACARE aka THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT, THE DEMOCRATS UP FOR REELECTION NOW WANT TO DELAY IT! Looks likte delaying it actually was in the best interest of the people and not just another political move. The senate Democrats up for reelection have now called for Obamacare to be delayed. Since they know that without a delay, theyll probably be fired, thanks to the failure of the stance they fought so hard for. I deal with internet corporations and corporations that depend highly on their internet sites; a couple of hours of not working and heads roll, a couple of days is ridiculous and more than a week is absolutely absurd, uncalled for and unaccepted, and you can be sure the breach of contracts card will be played as will people be fired for incompetence. The answer should be NO. If they want, they can REPEAL IT! They had the chance to delay Obamacare... instead they fought against this, and anyone for delaying it were categorized as republicans or were labeled traitors, TeaPartysts, republican extremists or even terrorists. When in actuality, commonsense doesnt have a political party. They knew very well it was far from ready to be rolled out and how this would affect the population at large. They also knew that if the people had the time to become informed on the act, this would play against it. Never the less, they pushed for it and werent willing to compromise in the Federal Budget and in the tugg of war game, The Federal Government Was Shut Down, as a strategy to fight to not delay the implementation of this anticonstitutional, corporate bought for law. But of course, why why would they want to give the people the opportunity to actually inform themselves of the repercusions of this act? Now, if they dont like how Obamacare is playing out, then they can REPEAL. The Website bugs or glitches are nothing but cheap excuses. US News and World Report posted (usnews/news/articles/2013/10/24/democrats-ask-to-delay-obamacare-deadline?src=usn_fb): In an open letter to President Barack Obama, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., Wednesday called on the administration to change the deadline by which individuals must purchase health insurance and waive the fine for those who are unable to secure coverage because of the Affordable Care Act’s problem-filled rollout. “Allowing extra time for consumers is critically important so they have the opportunity to become familiar with the website, survey their options and enroll,” wrote Shaheen in the letter, which was obtained by Politico. “As website glitches persist, we are losing valuable time to educate and enroll people in insurance plans. I also fear that people that have tried, and failed, to enroll online may become frustrated and not return to the website to try again at a later date.” “If an individual is unable to purchase health insurance due to technical problems with enrollment, they should not be penalized because of lack of coverage,” she added. Here’s what AP published (lasvegassun/news/2013/oct/24/us-health-overhaul-democrats/): Now it’s Democrats who want ‘Obamacare’ delayed A growing number of the president’s allies are worried about political fallout from glitches in the administration’s health insurance website. Seven Senate Democrats want the White House to postpone parts of the law while contractors and the government work out kinks that have kept many consumers from signing up. West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin is co-sponsoring a bill to delay the penalty for not enrolling. Six other Democrats up for re-election next year are asking to postpone the March 31 enrollment deadline. They are Sens.
