AN UNDISCLOSED COMPANY is seeking a knowledgeable, progressive motivated individual to fill the position of: ASSISTANT MANAGER, HUMAN RESOURCES JOB SUMMARY The job position contributes significantly to the efficient administration and management of the organization’s human resource function to include recruitment, compensation and benefit administration, team development, employee relations and statutory compliance. The position provides each operational unit with the guidance and support necessary to achieve the objectives of the business. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and direct the organization’s recruitment and selection process ensuring that the staffing requirements are met Assist in the administration of the compensation and benefits programmer-including, staff loans, pension plans, group insurance, employee assistance and the performance management process Assist in formulation and implementation of policies and procedures as necessary Maintain organizational compliance by keeping abreast of and enforcing relevant legislation Keep employees informed by preparing and disseminating communication EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, behavioral sciences or associated field A minimum of three years supervisory experience in human resources with a proven track record of achievement Knowledge of labour laws and industrial relations Sound knowledge of compensation and benefit systems CORE COMPETENCIES Excellent human relations, communication (written and oral) interviewing and negotiation skills Effective leadership skills Sound analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills Excellent planning and organizing skills Computer literate with sound working knowledge of current Microsoft Office systems HOW TO APPLY Qualified candidates should submit their curriculum vitae and references BY HAND DELIVERY to: The Human Resources Manager c/o Box A6 The Nassau Guardian Oakes Field Nassau, Bahamas
