ANAMBRA GUBER IN FOCUS:--- The much awaited Anambra state guber election has come and gone, although characterized by irregularities in some wards of Idemili LGAs. That notwithstanding, Anambrarians hv made their position known, their mandate hs bn given and cannot be taken back. As it is usual with our political culture, losers ar crying foul. Undeniably, there were electoral flaws in some areas but that could not be reason gud enof for total cancellation of d whole exercise as was called by d APC candidate. Inec in its professional wisdom knows of d laid down electoral laws and accordingly will organise supplementary elections in d affected areas. However, it will not be out of place for d aggrieved losers to approach d court if they ar nt satisfied with whatever outcome. I can tell U without mincing words dt if this election shud be conducted over and over again, d status quo will still be maintaind,,,,,, Yes, winning an election is not so simply a task and failure is somewhat a shock somehow hard to absorb. Our politicians, particularly d losers of dis very election shud as a matter of maturity n civility try and marry d spirit of sportsmanship and save theirselves some costs. Anambra state is neither cheap nor for d highest bidder but for d elected!
