ANFA held meeting with various clubs and district football associations today and took decisions on various agendas regarding the national league which is scheduled to be held on Magh 7.The decisions are as follows: 1.Team registration from Poush 11-20. 2.From Poush 13-18 ANFA officials and match commissioners will be inspecting venues, hotels and grounds of the districts that will be participating in the league. The team will also examine the security situation. 3.Participating teams will have to register at least 18 players, including two goalkeepers, from Poush 21-27. 4.Team managers’ meeting on Poush 29. The meeting will draw the tie-sheet and prepare the regulations of the league. 5.Tie-sheet will be unveiled on Poush 30. 6.A press conference regarding the national league will be organized on Magh 4. 7.Rs. 200,000 (2 Lakh) will be provided to districts forground maintenance. 8.Each participating team will receive Rs. 1.5 million (15 Lkah) as preparation amount. The amount will be made available in three installments – before the league, in course on the league and after the league. 9.After every match, the two teams will receive 20 percent (each) of the gate money after deducting the operating cost. 10.A cash prize of Rs. 10 million (1 Crore) to the winning team. Cash prizes to the runner-up, first runner-up, second runner-up and individual awards have also been planned. 11.The current U-17 batch of the academy will be released for the league.
