*ATTENTION FACEBOOK FRIENDS** A group I am associated with at my college, ONU, is taking a trip to Haiti/Dominican Republic for the 3rd week of May. We are going there, not as a vacation, but solely to help those in need. If you are unaware, these countries are very poor and do not have the luxuries we have. We will be building things, teacher people stuff and showing their citizens a good time. Each person going is responsible for purchasing their own plane ticket and to also contribute toward the funds needed to stay in the countries. The total fee for each person is about 1,400, which is actually a pretty good price. Although you will not be coming with, you can still help to contribute. Each of us are accepting any sort of donations you wish to give. Clothes that you or someone you know dont wear, will be gladly accepted. Along with shoe, hairbrushes, toothbrushes, deodorant, literally anything little and nice to have would be great. Since I am a college student, any kind of money donation to help pay for the trip would be very, very much appreciated as well!
