ATTENTION STAF AND STUDENTS: Werewolf attacks reported in nearby villages!! As the full moon nears, attacks by young, confused, and often unbloodied Werewolves will increase. Several Werebears have been allowed access to this campus to protect from unsanctioned attack. Please follow any instructions, with in reason, as they are here to protect you... Werewolf: The most notorious and recognized shape shifter, also most lethal!! Werewolves belong to the Lycanthrope family of shifters, and in most cases are victims of previous attack. Unlike other Werebeast, Werewolves can pass on the ability to change through biting or clawing a hapless human. Many times, these victims do not realize what happened, or worse choose to deny the event. But on the first full moon will shift, and in their confusion, attack anything they see as a threat or as prey!! Often they are stuck between wolf and man, and have an extreme bloodlust. They attack without thought, but revert to human form at dawn, often with no memory of the event!! Pureblood Werewolves, such as Professor Loveless( Sara Wilson ), can control their shift and only attack when provoked. Werewolves can have families, the offspring of which are referred to as Pureblood. They are born in litters, they often look like humans covered in fuzz, with wolf like features, such as nose or fangs. Cubs remain with their mother in a Den, until age 10, then are left to fend for themselves! True/Pureblood Werewolves live in packs, and tend to move from place to place in search of prey. Some make homes in caves in the wilderness, others may use mobile caravans. Not all werewolves are completely evil, over time some control their list and can live along side humans and other werebeast, yet they almost always hide their true nature for fear of being driven away...
