Cars have a very unique way of instantly connecting people without any reason other than an appreciation of the automobile and the stories behind them. My father and I would watch car auctions on television for hours on end. The two of us shared memories and connected on a level that spans generations. We would compare stories and relive memories simply by watching what crossed our TV screens. These memories inspired dreams about which cars we would want to buy and even put our own price tag on what we would pay for them. At the end of the day, we would compare our lists and proudly boast about who had the better collection. It became a ritual that meant a lot because I got to relive the same childhood feelings and memories as I had laying under those same cars in the driveway as a child. Working on a car with my father created a bond between us that will never be broken. My father has since passed away making this game symbolic of all of that time spent and instilling a passion inside me to bring this game to the world. I just hope by creating this game that we have made it easier to find the common ground to help others reconnect those memories too.
