Abundant Life Christian Assembly(ALCA), Inspiration For Sunday 23rd June 2013. HAVING DONE ALL,…. STAND ! Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day; and having done all to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth…… Ephesians 6:13-14 (NKJV) You may be wondering, “How long will this situation last?” The size of the prize determines the severity of the fight. The enemy knows your vulnerabilities and ready to push you to your limits. He wants you to give up on God. When he does, remember: “Blessed is the man who endures …..for when he has been proven, he will receive the crown…..” (James 1:12-NKJV) No matter how long you have been in your challenges, you are today closer to your crown than ever. The prince of darkness hindered Daniel’s prayers for twenty one days (Daniel 10:13). Goliath defied the armies of Israel forty days and nights (1 Samuel 17). Your enemy is relentless; you must be too. Your persistence will overcome his resistance. “You have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise”. (Hebrews 10:36-NKJV) Fight the good fight of faith. Don’t relent. Don’t leave the battle field of your destiny. David didn’t get into trouble with Bathsheba until he left the battlefield. It’s the safest place to be. Stay there, keep fighting and God will come to your aid. When Joshua needed extra time to defeat his enemies, the sun stood still. You may have listened to the testimonies of others and seem to be swift. God works in diverse ways. Jesus healed in different ways. Some He spoke to, others He touched. One day He told ten lepers to go and show themselves to the priest. They may probably have wondered ….. “When will it happen? How will it happen?” Faith doesn’t deal on factual details, it just keeps moving obediently forward, holding on to the truth and believing God for the right result. Delay is not denial. God will visit you and you will glorify Him. It’s your turn to testify Your Shepherd Rev. Samson Ozovehe
