We started the "Renounce-War Poster Project" (renounce-war.org/introduction) to raise awareness of the importance of the current Constitution of Japan, which says that the country has pledged to "forever renounce" war and the threat or use of force (The Constitution of Japan, Chapter II, Article 9). The Constitution was enacted 66 years ago, and our pledge to pacifism is now, more than ever, critical to the future of our country, our region and the world. With this in mind, we want to once again call on our friends and supporters from around the world to join forces so that our voices are stronger and our messages spread wider.
