Accidental Biodata • Born on a stormy day. It poured like anything. • Had a cut mark on the right eyebrow, the sign of beating for not taking bath. Do not have memory of this childish revolt. • Got sick many times from fever, small pox and other infections. • Had no interest in painting. • Met with an accident with a tempo, left shinbone (tibia) was fractured. Remained in bed for three months. • Got operated on the throat, swollen cervical glands. After biopsy they found it was tuberculosis and was treated for six months. • Severely burned by cracker on the next day of Diwali. Both hands and face were burnt. Remained in bed for months. By this time three molars were already extracted. • Had my first one-man show in 1976 titled ‘akhil and akhil’? • Stabbed by two young boys on the back. Kidney was separated by few millimeters. Was in bed for seven days survived just by chance • Betrayed by a Marathi friend in Indore. • Left for Bangaluru for another scooter accident. This time again I was on the back seat. Remained in bed for fifteen days. Lots of cuts and wounds. • Betrayed by another friend who is kannad in Bangalore • Came to Bhopal and in no time got infected with Malaria. • Betrayed by one more friends. A Muslim friend in Bhopal • Gas leaked, in spite of remaining in the house, inhaled enough of it. Medical science does not know what to do with MIC Gas till this day. • Malaria again. Remained in bed for a longer period. This time doctor found out it was chronic. Was treated for six months. • Met with another scooter accident with a friend, this time he was on the back seat, remained unconscious for an hour. He was hurt on his knees. My teeth were shaken. Suffered for months. • One of my drunken artist friend twisted right hand fingers up to the maximum. It was pain for years. • Suspended from job for a year, three months and ten days. • A mediocre artist threatened me twice. Same one lodged a police complaint against me through some Tom. • Again made a complaint against me to the government, charging me for taking bribes from Foreign Artist to get invitations to go abroad. • Harassed continuously by this mediocre Artist and professional Gunda. • After Stretching 17 canvasses all alone for my 29th one man show developed ganglion in left hand thumb. • Eyesight weakened and started wearing reading glasses. • Resigned from Bharat Bhavan Bhopal. • Developed S.G.O.T. and S.G.P.T. in Liver. Treated for three month. • Suffered from Tennis Elbow for eight months and couldn’t paint. • Developed backache during continuous painting sessions. • Betrayed by one more friend. This time Brahmin in Bhopal. • Went under operation for prostate glands. • Had problems of pain and suffering of seasons. • I live happily in Bhopal. Akhilesh
