Accountant (Audit) The Opportunity Ulton is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our Audit and Assurance team based inBundaberg. This role will suit someone with an interest in Audit and a background in Public Practice working in Taxation (Business Services) and/or Audit. This full-time role will involve auditing companies, trust accounts, small incorporated associations and SMSFs. The successful candidate will report to the Audit Manager and work within a team environment. Travel and working outside of normal business hours will be involved in this role. To be eligible for this role, candidates must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and experience: Formal university qualifications in accounting Post graduate studies in accounting (desirable) A minimum of five years experience working as a qualified Accountant in Public Practice Up to date working knowledge of Australian taxation issues Up to date working knowledge of Australian auditing standards Previous experience in auditing companies, trust accounts, small incorporated associations, SMSFs and the ability to prepare financial statements (desirable) Experience working with MYOB Accountant Enterprise (AE), Caseware, BGL Simplefund software programs (desirable) Experience mentoring Junior Accountants and reviewing work (desirable) This position is not suitable for students or recent graduates with no formal working experience.
