Whats on my mind is how saddened and disgusted I am by the actions taken by Dominic Rivera. Not only did you steal photography from a beautiful artist and claim it to be yours, you have the nerve to attempt to build a platform and advertise from work that is not yours on several social media sites. Every artist exposes a piece of their heart and soul through their work and this isnt something to be taken lightly. I have personally struggled with displaying my own publicly because of how vulnerable and exposed it leaves me and greatly admire artists who fearlessly do so. There are times when my photography has been used online without listing my name and that in itself is hard too see and happens to artists way to often. To take the extra step to shamelessly steal and put your own name on Jenavieve Belairs work (and other artists that have sadly not yet discovered you) for your personal and financial benefit falls under a category that has no justification. You have great taste, Belair is an astounding photographer as well as the other work youve displayed that is neither of yours however, if you truly are a photographer or an artist, learn from the work you strive to create yourself and dont be a thief just because the internet makes it easy. If you took another route you would have seen that there are many artists that would have been willing to help and support you because we all stick together. Its hard enough being an artist nowadays without worrying about people like you. To every artist out there that has to deal with this bullshit, my heart goes out to you and know that at least youre succeeding in making this world more beautiful to have people try and profit of of your hard work, time, effort, imagination, skill and self expression. I have your back
