Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. The early Church developed a pattern of consistency which lead to tremendous momentum, growth and breakthroughs. The maintained a course of systematic teaching (apostle doctrine). They fellowshipped (koinoneo which means to share resources w/ others). They brake bread together (shared in the Holy Communion). They PRAYED. This was their culture and it proved highly beneficial for them. I want to emphasize the importance of continuity in prayer. Many today have deemed this is something relegated to the intercessors only. However, the apostle of the early church were heavily involved in the ministry of prayer. I believe that God is breathing afresh on His Church and a heightened awareness of the importance of prayer is going to sweep the nations. Miracle,signs, wonders, breakthrough, increase and peace to name a few are going to overflow. #restorationofprayer #fireburningonthealtar #momentumandincrease
