Addiction is when the heart/subconscious mind,which is governed by the pleasure principle,overrides the mind(reasoning) of the soul to look for a satisfaction that can only be found in God,in people,places,and things,unable to find it,but unable to stop.If you know someone dealing with an addiction,pray over their heart.Traditional counseling tends to be ineffective because it attempts to engage the mind to invoke the will to try to bring about rehabilitation,but only God deals with the root of the matter,which is the heart.
