Admin here: Just a reminder that we are not here to discuss anything besides lost and found--not how good the owners are, etc. Please do not advise turning dogs over to rescue groups because you dont think animal has been well cared for. There is not a rescue group around who would take an animal if it has an owner. There are some legal issues (such as theft) if you dont return an animal to its owner. The ONLY option to not returning an animal to a known owner is Animal Control. Once again, such discussions are valuable but belong elsewhere. Please keep all comments on threads positive and based as per the mandate of this group--we are approaching 1600 members and lost and found is why we are all here! Thank you.
