Admiral John Kirby, a Pentagon spokesman said that some trainers and support troops may have issued orders to move within the next week or so to start training for the moderate Syrian opposition. He Kirby told reporters: begin to go to countries that are going through the training tasks between four to six weeks to come. The US Department of Defense said that several hundred US troops that will help moderate the Syrian opposition training to fight state regulation will begin to go to the region within four to six weeks. The US military has said it plans to send more than 400 troops to train militants to fight the Syrians organization of the Islamic state, and will be helping a few hundred American support troops.
